I bought my son a VW Polo, it had a problem with the heating that was not picked up at the time of sale, the guys at Birdwood Garage were happy to get the car back in and put it right, fantastic service!

Talk about getting us out of a pickle! 2 hours away from home and on our way to Bike Park Wales, my van went into limp mode. We pulled over and were about to ring the RAC when we took a chance at finding a local garage. We managed to find Birdwood Garage and took a chance at limping there to see if they could help. When we arrived we spoke to Kev, one of the mechanics there and explained the situation. He told us they were really busy but despite this and the fact it was a Saturday he seemed to take pity on us and told us to leave the van with him for an hour and he'd sort it. We went for a walk around town for an hour and when we returned the van was back up and running. Trip to bike park wales saved and smiles all around. Not all hero's wear capes, some wear mechanics overalls. Great price, great service, would highly recommend. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We purchased a car on the weekend from Fred and his team. Fred was very friendly, not pushy, very happy for us to AA check the car, worked really well with us. After a few bad experiences with buying cars in the past 2 years it was very reassuring to have such amazing service. If we ever needed to buy a car again we would certainly give Fred a ring and purchase one from this garage again. We couldnt thank Fred enough for helping us out.

I’ve recently purchased a Jaguar XF 3.0 V6 S from these guys. After reviewing previous MOT history check, which I’m sure everyone should be doing before purchasing a 2nd hand car!

Noticed there were a few re-occurring advisories which the guys at Birdwood were open and honest about stating there was no evidence of some items being taken care of by the previous owners.

We all came to agree on a price I was certainly happy with. The price was to take the car away as it sat. They offered to service the car for me but I decided to take the car with me and get the works done myself.

Being an ex car trader myself, I found these guys great! Couldn’t fault them in anyway.

Reading previous reviews, I guess some people who want to purchase a second hand car want the car to be in brand new condition! With buying any used vehicle, things happen and things break!

Overall I was very happy in every aspect from dealing with them on the phone and agreeing a price to taking the car away!
